How to make cannabis-infused vodka

Ingredient for 75cl of Cannabis Vodka

• 8 grams of cannabis in bloom. You can of course put more cannabis if you wish.
• A 75 cl bottle of your favourite brand of vodka

If your cannabis is not dry, it is best to put it in the oven at 75 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes in order to dry it and facilitate decaloxelation. If you use wet cannabis the recipe will not make cannabinoids active and you will feel little or no effects. If you don’t want to feel the effects of THC and CBD, you can incorporate freshly cut flowers.

What to do

1. Grind or coarsely chop the cannabis flowers and put them in the vodka bottle.
2. Keep it in a cool place and away from the light for 4 days. Don’t forget to stir the bottle twice a day.
3. On the fourth day, boil a large pot of water. Turn off the heat once the water is boiling. Put the bottle standing, closed, in the water of the pan, and let it warm for 30 minutes. The water level should not exceed the bottle. The heat helps to decarboxyle the cannabinoids, and will allow the infusion into the alcohol.
4. Strain the cannabis and put the vodka back in the bottle.

Ingredients & Hardware For Cannabis-Infused Honey Vodka

First, let’s lay out what you need:

• A mason jar
• A saucepan for a water bath
• A blender
• A cheesecloth

As well as:

• 2 grams of decarbed cannabis
• 150g (½ cup) of honey
• 52.25g (¼ cup) of coconut oil
• 500ml of vodka

Step-By-Step instructions for honey-cannabis Vodka

Step One: You will first need to make your cannabis honey. To do this, grind up your decarboxylated cannabis to a coarse consistency and place in the mason jar with the coconut oil. Your cannabis must be decarboxylated for any psychoactive effects to take place.

Step Two: Place the sealed mason jar in a warm water bath on low heat for about 2 hours. This ensures all the cannabis is extracted by the fats in the oil from the flower.

Step Three: After the 2 hours, take your cheesecloth and strain the oil through the cloth to remove any bits of cannabis. Gently squeeze the cheesecloth to make sure all the oil has been drained out.

• A cheesecloth
• A thermometer

You will also need:

• 1-3 grams of decarboxylated cannabis
• 250ml of vodka

Step One: Grind your cannabis into a medium-consistency grain and wrap it in the cheesecloth. It’s important to make sure your cannabis has been decarboxylated or your vodka infusion will not have any psychoactive effects, but rather will be simply a marijuana-flavored vodka.

Step Two: Once your cannabis has been wrapped in a cheesecloth, set up your double boiler. Place this on low heat.
