How to Make Cannabis Chocolate
There are countless different ways to combine cannabis and chocolate. Hash brownies are an all-time classic, and marijuana-infused hot chocolate is the perfect way to warm up on chilly winter days.
However, if you are after a recipe which is quick, easy, and fun to make, this is the one for you. You only need some basic, store cupboard ingredients and equipment to make this cannabis-infused chocolate at home. It also requires a minimal amount of skill.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 3–5g high-quality bud
- A baking sheet and parchment paper for decarboxylation (see below)
- 100g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa is best), broken into small pieces
- A glass bowl
- A saucepan
- A chocolate mold, ice cube tray, or similar
Step 1: Decarboxylate Your Cannabis
Before you start making your weed-infused chocolate, you need to decarboxylate your bud. This process converts the THCA and CBDA found in raw marijuana into their more active forms, THC and CBD. It may seem like an excessive amount of effort, but decarboxylating your cannabis is definitely worth doing.
