Clarify the butter over medium high heat scooping out all of the white milk solids leaving a translucent yellow butter oil. Infuse cannabis into clarified butter over a double boiler for 1 hour. Strain and press oil from cannabis with a fine mesh filter or cheesecloth. If using a concentrated cannabis you can skip the first step and infuse the cannabis into the clarified butter for 20 minutes. If using both, wait until after dry herb is strained from the butter, then return the partially infused oil to the double boiler and add in the concentrates to continue infusing for 20 minutes.

After butter is infused divide ¼ cup into medium saucepan. Butter a 9X9 square pan for the fudge. Then use remaining butter to pour over chopped nuts in oven safe dish. Salt the nuts and toast in the oven for 10 minutes or so on 350° F.6 Heat the butter in the saucepan over low heat, stirring in chocolate and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until smooth, then add in nuts, stir to combine.

Pour hot fudge into greased pan. Gently tap on the counter to remove bubbles of air and put in refrigerator for at least 2 hours to fully set. Remove from pan, cut into squares, store in airtight container in refrigerator or serve and enjoy!Easy Cannabis Infused Fudge

Regular batch cannabis chocolate fudge

  • 3 cups chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup cannabutter

Cooking instructions

Put all ingredients into a microwave safe mixing bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes, stopping to stir halfway through. Mix well. Pour into greased 8 x 8 pan. Cool. Cut into pieces.

Directions

Start by greasing the baking tray and set it aside. Now, set the candy thermometer in the pot. Add the sugar, cocoa and milk to the pot and using the whisk stir them together in the pot. Turn the heat up to a medium flame and bring the mixture to a boil as you keep stirring it. Once the mixture boils, stop stirring it and reduce the flame. As the mixture simmers watch the thermometer till it reaches 238 degrees Fahrenheit. Another way to check this is to drop a spoonful of the mixture into a bowl of cool water and if it balls up into a mixture that you can hold in your hand it’s at the right temperature.

Now turn off the heat and let the mixture cool to well below 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, add the cannabis butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. If you are using any nuts add them into the mixture now. Using the wooden spoon mix or whip everything together well. Beat the mixture till it loses that glossy look and becomes thick and has a matt finish look. Now pour the mixture into the greased baking tray and put it in the fridge to cool for 30 to 40 minutes. You can clean you fudge pot easily if you fill it with soapy water and let it boil.

Once the fudge has cooled properly and set, take it out of the fridge andtip it on to a cutting board. Cut it up into pieces as you like. This recipe should give you about 16 pieces. Your marijuana chocolate fudge is ready! It will be very rich and yummy with all the cannabis butter and therefore quite potent and you can get a pretty good buzz in your head!

Best chocolate for making infused microwave fudge

You can use any chocolate chips, but semisweet chocolate chips are the best. Because the sweetened condensed milk has a large amount of sugar, the semisweet chocolate balances out the flavor. As for brands, most are fine for making cannabis fudge but read the ingredients on the package. If you see flour, it is a sign of poor quality and will no longer be gluten free.

Using cannabutter to make cannabis fudge

Always make sure you decarboxylate cannabis before making edibles. Please visit the Edibles Tools page for more information. You can use either regular cannabutter or quick cannabutter for making cannabis chocolate fudge.

Dosing cannabis fudge

In order to achieve consistent dosing, make sure that your pieces are equal sizes. If you know how much THC is in your cannabutter, simple divide that number by the number of servings to get the dosage per piece.

If you grow your own flower and make your own cannabutter, a few more calculations are required.

How many grams of dried flower are you using in your batch? Multiply that number by 1000. Next, multiply that number by the percentage of THC in your strain. Then, multiply that number by .88 for the conversion of THCA to THC. Finally, divide this number by the number of servings. Here is an example:

Bob used 7 grams of White Widow with 20% THC to make half a cup of cannabutter. He then used half of the cannabutter to make his fudge that he cut into 24 equal sized pieces.

Half a cup of cannabutter yields: 7 x 1000 = 7000 mg x .20 (THC) x .88 (Convert to THC) = 1232 mg THC

Bob used 1/4 cup to make his fudge, so 616 mg THC gets divided into 24 piecces, making each piece 26 mg THC

  1. It does look good, but I find that chocolate fudge is often disappointingly lacking in chocolate flavor. 99% is decent, though, so maybe it might be enough. If it’s not, can it be made with extra cocoa powder?
